Commission Shortcut - Issues With Affiliate Marketing

Before I go through this, it should be said that these issues most often only apply to smaller or shadier companies and not the more established companies - at least not anymore.
A past problem Commission Shortcut Review that often triggered negative responses from many internet users was the amount of e-mails and ads one could get from programs they had joined. This spamming was a huge problem at the dawn of the affiliate marketing programs.
This is no longer such a problem. That is partly because the companies behind the marketing programs have realized that this is not the way to go. It will in the just put the potential customers off.
It is also because nowadays, there are a lot of refined ad-blockers to stop pop-ups and trash mail boxes to stop spam e-mails. This is called "customer countermeasures".
This has in recent times evolved into so called "search engine spam".
This involves different techniques like "spamdexing"
Spamdexing involves the makings of auto generated web pages filled with data feeds from affiliate marketers. The pages can be filled with a specified set of keywords to increase hits on a certain niche market.
Most search engines have tools to counter this though, and they are evolving into more and more sophisticated versions.
One of the most known problems with affiliate marketing is the risk of viruses or spyware in the ads. For the most parts, it is not the fault of the advertisements owner but rather the work of a black hat hacker. They can infect clickable ads with malicious software that will infect the computer of the "clicker" - often without them knowing.
An often discussed aspect of affiliate PIP Jet Review marketing programs is their lack of self-regulation and standards. Companies often employ a trial and error sort of tactic for spreading their ads online. Most of the time, it is hard for the companies to know if their marketing campaigns will succeed. They will just have to try them and see if they work or not, really.
The companies often try to adapt to new technologies, inserting their ads on new places. A good example of a new thing is to put them in online games.
As you can see, most of these problems barely exist today, except maybe for some smaller companies. Most companies have understood that methods such as e-mail spam do not work in the long run. In any case, it wouldn't work as well today anyway since the countermeasures have evolved to such a level.
